It's been a good many years since I've seen the animatronic LBJ. It's not something you should see often. It's the creepiest thing in town. I like to take the foreign visitors to see it.
The animatronic LBJ lives in an animatron shelter at the LBJ Library. He comes to us thanks to Neiman Marcus. The animatronic LBJ has on a cowboy outfit. He "tells funny stories." He has a laugh track.
I will now quote an LBJ Library visitor today, upon seeing the animatronic LBJ for the first time: "Oh my God!"

Itis best not to look directly into the animatronic LBJ's eyes, because as his head is turning there will come a point when he stares back at you and you will have nightmares.
The "special exhibit" at the library now is about bringing electricity to central Texas. I don't think there's anything that could possibly be more boring to me, but I was there, so I had a look see.
Mannequin dioramas! Mannequin dioramas! You'd think you were in England or something. (England, where there are mannequin dioramas in the thousands.) These were especially odd mannequins.
I think ironing lady was based on Edvard Munch paintings.
This melon headed lady was canning. So if all that wasn't creepy enough, there was also this:

I would like, just once, to read something about the history of central Texas without that horrid, horrid word.
